Just looking ahead I would have to assume we start Eberle. He had a really good outing in Nashville. Schweitzer should be good and I would think everyone with the exception of Forbes and Biven could go an inning or a batter or two in a must situation..

I really think we are the better team and if "big if"we play "clean" we should pull out the win. The key is focus. This team just tends to lose focus at the drop of the hat and a bad loss is often followed by another bad loss.. Hopefully we can put all that bad behind us and take care of business tomorrow. Let's Go !!

Agreed, this team is as good offensively and defensively as any team left in the tournament. If we pitch like we did in Nashville, we win.

All hands on deck today. Forbes threw 107 pitches. Don't be surprised if we see him today. Hell,he could hit. Lol
I repeat- ALL HANDS ON DECK

Eberle is going to need to last 4 or even better 5 innings. This staff doesn't do very well when we dip in the bullpen real early. I wouldn't be surprised to see Forbes come in to face a batter or even pitch an inning if needed.

I'm high on Eberle, bet he gives us 5 innings or so. Biven was a tough matchup and that got us lopsided with our relievers.
I don't see using Forbes after over 100 Friday, but youneverknow. Look for Eberle, Cutts, Wyatt D. Schweitzer.

That really is enough good pitching to win the game and I'd bet that's more than what Miami has in the tank. We just have to be focused on our business and play clean baseball and we win...

Just an observation here at the game. Cards really looked locked in during fielding practice. Really whipping the ball around and a lot of chatter. Let's hope it carries over to the game..

Need to get on Lumpkin early. He gets hit hard and was fortunate Southern Miss had an off day in his last outting. Need to score a bunch today and not waste opportunities, this Miami team is very opportunistic. In regionals they took advantage of every Mistake Columbia or S Miss made and did that to us yesterday.

What in the hell was that? Why did Miami ask for a review when the baseruner gave himself up moving away from the infielder?

Weird stuff just seems to follow the Cards around. At least this time it went in their way.

Got the needed innings from Eberle, anything from here on out is icing. Now need to get the offense to put some runs up

Feels like the lower 1/3 of Miami’s lineup is similar to the ‘27 Yankees

Looks like West for the 9th. Forbes went to the bullpen but is back in the dugout.

Despite several unnecessary walks at the worst possible time; we come up with the best win of the year. It was close, but we advance when others fail. So proud of where we came from just a few weeks ago.

At this point it doesn’t matter! The UNC series tells me a lot about college baseball; the most talented and the most favored are guaranteed nothing; I am just happy to be in Omaha!!!
