The Jason Momoa combover was hilarious. The wife didn’t approve.

Wasn't a funny one, but the McD's one showing lots of folks' favorite meals was well done.

Tom Brady Hulu commercial was also well done considering he posted a pic last week making everyone think he was leaving NE but it was actually just a still shot from the commercial.

Bloomberg statement about '2900 kids a year' is a blatant lie.

Even the 'kid' they mentioned in the spot was 20 years old!

Just read about the ad since I didn't see it.

Distinction without a difference.
Its just not a meaningful difference to me since the point of gun violence still rings true.

But yeah, the ad needed to be 100% totally accurate in representation since it will otherwise inevitably be torn apart for the errors while the point is missed.

Can we not have a discusssion about super bowl commercials without a bunch of 17sticks turning it into a political pissing match? Some of the best commercials I can remember and all we want to do is piss and moan about politics...

Google made me shed a tear. Hyundai and Jeep had me laughing my *** off. Budweiser and Johnny Cash reminded me how much I love being an American. I noticed a lot of pro-America sentiment in the ads tonight. Good stuff.

I just re-read the posts in this thread and what are you talking about? A couple of criticisms of Bloomberg’s add isn’t ruining this thread or making it a pissing match. You must’ve had the 49ers or something...

Not to mention the “kid” was a gang member and killed by rival gang. Everyone that is killed by gun violence is someone’s child, so you it was an emotional play at best on twisted “facts”.

There is a huge difference between gang violence and disgruntled kids shooting up schools and accidents involving guns. They are different problems that will likely require different approaches unless you believe there will actually be gun confiscations in the US.

great stuff. Can’t believe that was allowed as a commercial due to violence, but it’s really funny
