StubHub seller not transferring ticket

Anybody ever run in to a situation where you’ve purchased a ticket on StubHub, gotten the order confirmation, but now the seller is slow to transfer the ticket? I bought a ticket at 7am and the status has been “seller notified” ever since. Stubhub seller instructions say they “should” transfer the tickets within 2 business hours so that would be 11 am.

Wondering if this is happening to anybody else today? I understand there’s a human element to this, but I’m trying to figure out how long I wait before I start panic-buying a second ticket.

I bought tickets 2 hours before game time on Monday and the seller had transferred them within 5-10 minutes.

Happened to us game 1. They had sold the tickets on another site and didn’t let us know. Thankfully they had other tickets and gave us those for the same price.

Yea, that’s what I’m afraid of. How did you end up getting in contact with the seller?

Other possibility is they just haven’t checked their email.
Which obviously doesn’t help you.
You’d get a refund if they don’t send them.

I’d wait until around 1 and call stubhub. Try to purchase some more and cancel those.

Last Friday the 18th I bought 2 for Sunday night game v TX
Didn’t get until about 7:30 Saturday night but I got them and row was better than I thought I bought.

happened to me twice BUT so I thought. Check your email from an email from TICKETMASTER for the ticket transfer, not stubhub and not the stubhub app and not the ticketmaster app.

The ticket transfer only works with the "Accept tickets" link in the email you get from TicketMaster.

This actually happened to me Monday. But what you are describing is what happens after the seller transfers. My problem is the seller hasn’t even transferred them yet. But you are right, knowing to look for a Ticketmaster email in your spam folder when you bought on Stubhub is a huge PITA.

Yea, that’s what I’m afraid of. How did you end up getting in contact with the seller?

My wife tried to call stub hub. It was a 3 hour wait. They eventually called her and worked it out. I think you’ll have to face the possibility they will refund your money and give you no tickets.

Happened to me early this morning, bought the tickets at like 9am and didn’t get the seller confirmation until 1230.

Happened to us for the SEC Tournament this year. Never got the tickets and had to order a second set. Got my money back, but was a serious pita, and it was a 9:00 game, so not stub hub customer service, as they’re on Pacific time. We bought stub hub tix last night for tonight’s game cause they weren’t available on Ticketmaster yet, but no way I would use stub hub given the choice. Too many variables.
