No, I am not a liberal. I just wish that people who claim South Point as their alma mater would act like they actually received an education and weren't pumped out of sewer.

Just checked the non-conference schedule...
While it's not the level of others they can't help who they've played considering the schedule was probably made when the school started. Going by what the Gazette has listed...
Cherryville 20-6 CV is 0-4 (Lots of turnovers in this one for SC)
RS Central 0-6 RS is now 2-2 with a forfeit and a loss to Shelby
West Iredell 35-6 WI is now 2-2
Bessemer City 27-14 BC is now 2-2
SC is averaging 20 points a game and giving up 8.
While it's not the level of others they can't help who they've played considering the schedule was probably made when the school started. Going by what the Gazette has listed...

that's all you need to know. When BC and Cherryville are your toughest 2 games out of 4, then you haven't played a HS football game yet. SC may have the easiest schedule in the state given their conference is the weakest, and this appears to be the weakest non conference schedule I have seen yet.
Good luck to the Storm this year. A lot of good people over there. Gonna be some teeth missing for the Purple lightnings after the SP meet up though. I hear talk of senior hijinx that may occur the week of this game? On a positive note, S. Cramer would beat the h#ll out of some of the better middle school teams in the area.

I hear you Ralph, and I can't argue much. My wonder is was this schedule made when the school was new and they were playing varsity with just juniors? Can't really blame them for who they play.
I'd probably disagree with who the strongest are though, I'd say RS and West Iredell are a good bit better then Cherryville and Bessemer City. Just assuming here.
Gonna be ugly this year for SC against SP. I think SC will finish somewhere in the middle though, which is "good" all things considered. SP will dominate them upfront on both sides of the ball.
Try again.. .. And again.. .. And again.... You get the POINT. Not going to happen anytime soon. Good luck in the playoffs.
