Who all is playing higher classified teams? Seems that Essex has a very tough schedule this year with 4 2A games one 3A and a 4A. Also a game against Northampton is a going to be a great game between arguably the best 1A teams in the east.
Nearly all 1a schools play at least a few 2a in the West. (glenvar, Giles, Graham, and Grayson to name a few play a ton of 1A schools) It is just way too hard not to. That said, it is difficult to get much higher. I know some 1a play Pulaski and Carroll County (those are 3a). Abingdon played George Wythe a few seasons ago, but I think that one lost out. Just slim pickin's. That Galax v. Giles matchup last year was great though.
