Stop Shooting 3s Please

Cannot believe they coach is letting them continue to shoot 3s. They are really solid if they take 3s out of their offense. I mean 17% tonight. It’s unwatchable.

It's fine to take a lot of threes if you're creating good looks, even for a poor-shooting team. It's dumb to take a lot of threes if you're dribbling for 25 seconds then chucking one up.

What really pissed me off, is not only did we have no semblance of an offense out there, but when our kids we chucking up threes and bricking them, I was surprised Pike didn't call timeout and get in their faces and start running a freakin' offense. Unfortunately, Pike seemed as clueless tonight as our players.

They started the second half playing inside then it all stopped again. Pike is losing it a bit.

And guess what? We were having success. Then all of a sudden we stopped doing the little things like getting the ball inside, screening etc. and went back to our original wtf offense of chucking up the ball from 3 point land.
