anyone watch the video. Holy crap how did she get off? She straight up murdered the guy. Escalated the situation by 1000 times. Even her kid knew she shouldn’t have.

She basically got off because they charged her with First degree instead of manslaughter. Also she shot him on the premise I am sure that helped a bit. We also don't know why the guys bond was being revoked.

1st degree was the wrong charge, should have been 2nd or manslaughter. BUT that woman should be in jail, I don't care what his background is, he was running away from her and she shot him in the back. The son's reaction didn't indicate that there was danger IMO, she just straight up murdered him. Just my opinion though.

Agree completely. She shouldn’t have a gun. Completely escalated a situation. Also I need to remember, murder is ok as long as it’s spontaneous.

Thankfully, I have no idea, what kind of powers of detainment, force, etc... does a bail bondsman have? Are they equivalent of a police officer? Is it fluid depending on the situation?

They have the authority to arrest you, but beyond that, I do not know.
