Of all the losses this looks like the hardest that he has taken.

And this a good thing in my eyes. I don't want him accepting a moral victory by hanging with MSU for 45 minutes. He knows they had a shot to win it.

Rutgers never gave up even after the slow start and maintained their poise through high pressure moments toward the end of the game.In the end it comes down to the lack of scoring threats on the court at the same time.Far to many possessions reflect running the clock down to less than 10 seconds and then whoever has the ball must take a difficult shot.Sanders is capable of scoring under pressure but other players have great difficulty under those situations.Pikiell did a outstanding job with substitutions keeping the players fresh and dealing with front court foul trouble .
