Steady Improvement

So, I am sure many of you know this fact, but I thought this was interesting.

If you look at Amir Abdur-Rahim head coaching record at Kennesaw State, he made steady improvements from year to year. Obviously, there were numerous things that happened to go his way, but this gives me a glimmer of hope for Coach Konkol and staff.

Yes, assuming you can keep the players you want, not a given in this environment, that’s the way to build a program. Sure, you can always point to this coach or that coach that has an amazing one year turnaround but those are exceptions rather than the rule. Anyone expecting us to go from 5 wins to 20 wins was living in a dream world. I am frustrated with several of our losses that with a bounce here or there that would have been wins (UALR, Memphis, ECU, etc.) and would have given us a better record but I’m enjoying watching this team and I’m positive about the future.
