3 straight solid games from Howland. We’re only 1-2 over that stretch, but it’s hard to complain about our efforts in the at Alabama, at Tennessee or in this Iowa State game.

That shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Iowa state had starters missing and a bad last couple outings, but they’re a legit program year in and year out, and they have played multiple top 10 teams this year within 10 - 6 point loss to Texas, 5 to West Virginia, 11 to Baylor. Strong performance tonight

Yeah, the in game thread was pretty quiet too.

Matthews just nailed his 5th and 6th FTs for the year!
Some dudes who I need to read up on kept the lead!

Pretty fun game. A bunch of ISU friends said it was gonna be a blood bath, but I was still surprised to see it

Iowa State doesn't have a win over a team not in the SWAC. What do you want MSU fans to say?

5 of their 9 losses are to ranked teams. This is their biggest deficit of the year. How about, "great job"?

Honestly I’m just waiting for the other shoe to fall at this point. Burnt out on this program pissing everybody off right when people are starting to get invested again.

Strong showing, yes, and we played well in our two most recent games too... but I have no expectation of us being able to sustain this.

I love when the boards are pretty silent on days where the basketball team plays.

Hopefully we can capitalize on the momentum and win 4 or 5 more in a row here. I think this team could be dangerous in the SECT and go on a run.
