State Playoffs Round 3 Predictions

Last week wasn't too bad for the predictions. In 3A East, I went 7-1. I'm 20-4 for the playoffs in the east. For 3A West, I was 6-2 last week. For the playoffs, I'm 20-4 as well.

There are some great games this week, as the teams move deeper in the rounds for a championship. The predictions for 3A East and West are below.

We played FV twice in 2009. Lost in the regular season and then beat them in the playoffs. I like SP's chances. It will be a low scoring game, the FV defense is stout. But I'm not sure they know how to win yet. They've had better teams and haven't done it. This year doesn't seem to be any different. Playing at home always helps too....

Oh no Jacksonville wants to stay out of the conversation of being a legit team. We want our opponents and all the NCPrep gurus to continue to overlook us Lee County by as many as they want to.

This Jacksonville team reminds me of the 2016 Cards. Beat Westover by 1 in the 1st Round, beat West Brunswick by 16 in the second, scored with about a minute left to beat Lee County 45-42, and lost in the regional finals 26-21 to Eastern Guilford. Plenty of talent... Just have to limit mistakes, and have a few breaks along the way. I say the Cards in a barn burner!!!

So does anyone know what the deal is with the Seventy-First and JH Rose score. MaxPreps only has the end of 3rd/beginning of 4th qtr score with Rose leading 20-14.
