There is no reason for this Duke team not start the offense on the Block. PB, Big Mark, Theo, Griffin, and even Keels have proven they are physically ready to get high percentage shots from the post.

My only concern is the impatience to settle for a jumper when that is not falling. Kick it out if doubled, then repost for better position.

Just a thought.

Totally agree. A "good" look from 3 less than 15 seconds in the shot clock is not a good shot for this team. A lot of those "good" shots we were missing were too early. We need to make defenses work harder defending us. Same shot later in the shot clock is much more acceptable.

I agree. Frankly with few exceptions, mainly Zion, Duke's offense has always been guard based. I will never ever forget, or forgive, our guards for ignoring Mason in the post against Lehigh. Mason's body language said it all as time after time he would post up only to be ignored by the guards.

This team's strength is inside and that should be exploited every single time down the court.
