It'll be a great addition to the city but I hope they have plans to refurb some of the existing parks as well.

Much needed. My kid’s been outta travel ball for 5 years or so but he had a tournament at the Sportsplex get cancelled after about an hour of rain because the fields became solid mud.

Compare that to the fields in Oxford where after 2-3 hours of torrential rain, they had a crew out there treating the fields and were playable within an hour. Their drainage was just top notch.
