K-State is a tough outfit at home, but Stanford seems to lack special players on offense like they had a few years back.

The game is in Dallas, but yeah Stanford was predicted to finish in the bottom half of the Pac-12 this year. They are not a good team.

Thought it was in Manhattan, probably a big K-State crowd there I would imagine. Not too many years ago, Stanford was a very physical team, but today they're getting pounded.

Wait, people are shocked that they suck?
You should have been shocked that they ever had a few good seasons.

They’re probably not allowed to practice
God only knows what restrictions are in place now. Some of the cities in CA starting shutting stuff down and instituting onerous COVID mitigation procedures a couple of weeks ago.

The Ucla-LSU game had a real good majority of fans without a mask. And yes, the Ucla cheerleaders were as lovely as ever.

Man what the hell has happened to them. Shaw always had them rollin
I've always thought Shaw has been overrated. His first 5 of 6 seasons he was pretty good. I think Harbaugh left the program in pretty good shape. Since 2017 he has been 26-20

I think Stanford is a tough gig. I don't believe they support their football team financially very well but I could be wrong. My guess is that the academic standards severely limit who they can recruit.

ABC had some really nice shots of the cheerleaders for Miami and Alabama. They looked very talented.

I don't think they pay their head coaches as well as some other teams. The school does provide them with a house which in Palo Alto is worth a whole lot of money. I am not sure about the school, but I would think with all the rich Stanford alumni money would not be hard to get for the football team.

Student body is made up of a ton of kids from outside of California and the country that never helps, then I think they don't start school until the 2nd or 3rd game of the year which means no students on campus.

Add in the fact that athletics are second fiddle to the education and you are kind of in a tough spot.
