Why is Indiana ranked above us in every league standing as we he have the same league record.? We beat them by 9 in January and will not play them again.

Do you really think ESPN inputs tie-breakers into their Excel spreadsheet “model?” They may or may not manually adjust the final standings if appropriate. Most sites probably default to alphabetical when there are ties.
Everyone does standings alphabetically. The tournament seeds will be different.
Since our league and overall records are the same, maybe they defaulted to alphabetical as Knight Owl mentioned. Ohio State is listed above Maryland, but Ohio State has the better overall record..
In the DraftKings official current B1G standings and tournament seedings RU is currently ranked 10 and Indiana is 11. They list the B1G’s tiebreaker criteria also.
Same thing every year — a few top teams and a few basement dwellers. Except this year there’s really only one basement dweller - the Juwanettes.

So if it BIG tourney happened now it would be Iowa vs. Rutgers in a must game for both teams…with Iowa currently being firmly on the bubble.
It will probably change 10 times before then, but I’d take a bye and Iowa on a neural court in a heartbeat.
