Quite shocking but Lovett was on crutches and still hasn't been cleared by the NCAA. He is supposed to be a very good PG and the Johnnies had 28 turnovers tonight without him. We really need to start out well and winning against St. John's in Queens. It is an important road game for us in the Dave Gavitt games.. I really hope I can ride with someone to this game.

St. Johns apparently has two players not cleared by the NCAA yet. I would think that this late in the semester, if they haven't been cleared, its not going to happen, but who knows.

There's alot of guys in limbo still.

For the most part it's the guys that have multiple HS transcripts and in many cases it's players from overseas.

I don't think that SJU wins one BE game this season.

I can't believe that. Are you sure it was that St. John's in Jamaica, Queens? Or was it another St. John's or St. John himself playing one on five?

I read that the second guy not cleared yet (not Lovett) will most likely red shirt this year. Johnny fans claim Lovett is their best player and is supposedly very good. They are of course hoping he is cleared by their opener vs. Wagner on 11/13.

Lovett is a really good player and was a steal for the johnnies because many schools backed away due to attitude and the case that he might not be eligible. He and mussinni are the guards of the future for that program.
