Spoke with a bear coworker today

His family has deep connections to Ole Miss. He said that him and his family is on a first name basis with a lot of the officials in the athletic dept. Specificly, Miller. The jist of the convo was:
1. First 15 mins of conversation was a lot of, " no big deal", "we are clean", "ncaa already knew about Tunsil texts" ETC ETC ETC .....
2. Last 15 mins was a little more realistic. He admitted that bad days are ahead. Freeze would probably be history when this is all over. He even said, and I'm quoting him, "Miller is not worried about the texts." Miller said that "those are the least of OM problems"
3. He also said WITHOUT A DOUBT, that ****** is the hacker. They KNOW THIS FOR SURE. I guess it could be. Again, these are his words and he made some good points and had me convinced. But who knows.

After Coach O and Nutt, i figured I would never see the unstable mentality of these folks to this degree again in my lifetime..I was wrong. This is getting fun again...

PS: I've been reading this page for as long as it's been on the net. I just can't remember ever posting.

Understand, i don't think John is involved. I think he

Is still involved with managing Tunsils money.

A 30 min convo with a bear is worse than a ncaa noa.

I got some feelers close to the staff up there also and they ensure me everything has been settled and there is nothing to see. Everything has been self imposed.

Magnum is not the hacker.

Probably the most ridiculous theory floated. By all accounts, they are a very good family and that type of **** and the like that I have heard of is beyond irresponsibly slanderous.

Ok, I have a fresh Bear at Work story this morning. He is a good friend of mine

so I decided to share with him some of the things I heard last night which are not on this board. All I can say is I left him in the break room
cleaning up all the coffee he had spilled all over the floor.

As I said in the thread last night they sound hard to believe to me, need to let

things play out but surely nothing wrong with sharing them with a Bear friend who has repeatedly told me he is not worried. He would do the same for me.

The Slive news was interesting if true, but the "something that's so unbelievable" seems like a rumor that needs to be spread.

No, I'm sharing things on an MSU biased board that lead to fun and games on here

if I think there may be something to them. When my source tells me things that seem to be a stretch I don't post them but usually tell DS about it.

If you don't like me sharing rumors you don't have to read them, it won't offend me.

I'm pretty sure that John Magnum is Jake's father. Is that true? And I also assume that the family is reasonably well off because they sent Jake to Jackson Academy, which isn't free (unless they give athletic scholarships, and I doubt that).

Given the above ... why does the father's name even come into the conversation. And why is he "still involved with managing Tunsil's money"? Is he a financial advisor?

I'm pleading total ignorance here, but just trying to figure out why in the world his name ever surfaced as being involved in the situation, and especially with being the hacker. One can assume that he would be a professional who would be well above that sort of behavior.
