The spammy, clickbait posts from single post people ("Could Urban Meyer Go to Jail?", "Where Every School's Logo Came From") are really annoying, thanks to the mods for keeping that crap cleared out. We're like family on here, it's fun to be annoyed by other TU fans but super not fun to be annoyed by outsiders.

What’s the deal with those posts? I don’t even click on them, superstitious I will get a virus. What are they trying to do with them?

I try to keep up but, they constantly change IP’s and set up new usernames.
Best defense is MFA on new user set ups and logins with CAPTCHA before posting.
First two would help a bunch without impacting current users too much.

Yeah, but this forum is so antiquated I still use the same 5-letter password I’ve had since like 1893. So I wouldn’t hold my breath.
I thought 💭 they didn't let you log in if you didn't change passwords when Oklahoma became a state.

I guess they had a long waiting period on enforcement.

You guys do a great job, you can't be on here 24/7... I never click on the spammy threads bc I assume clicks is what they want so maybe if they don't get anything, they'll take us off their list. But that's probably wishful thinking.
