Not many in the stands, but seems to be very little social distancing in spite of the low numbers, especially near the goal line. Isn't proper spacing a requirement?

I'm guessing most of the people sitting next to others without masks on are already around each other all the time sans mask. Maybe they are putting them on to and from their seats like many do at restaurants

Their fans have not been enamored with Hopson for a while and honestly I haven’t watched his teams enough to understand that, but after tonight I get it. Campbell coached circles around him. That was a really bad showing by USM. In a different financial climate for them his seat would be very warm, but in the current state of affairs I’m not sure they have any choice but to ride out his contract.

We lost tonight for 3 reasons:

1) Got whipped in the trenches
2) Absolutely putrid officiating that directly led to a 10-11 point differential
3) Jay Hopson being Jay Hopson and failing to make any adjustments

Hop is terrible and should have been fired after the bowl loss last year. We have a new AD that was a little too green to make that push, and our president is a non-sports guy. This is a really bad USM football team, probably worse than the one State hammered last season. I know many boosters that have pulled all of their financial support of football until Hop is gone.

Not really, that fiasco pissed off a lot of fans. I didn’t care for AB at all, but the way the administration mis-managed everything pissed me off more than considering a sleezeball.

President is not well liked and made two terrible AD hires. New AD seems better, but didn’t have the balls to fire Hop after the pitiful showing in the bowl game vs Tulane.

if it was a pass (it wasn't) then it should have been Intentional Grounding. those Refs were the Pits. Also the Refs let several seconds run off the clock at the end when Jags picked up a ball and ran down the field. Ref blew it dead but the clock didn't stop.
