South point vs Lincolnton

LOL. Lincolnton will be very testy but Belmont boys are very physical. That could be a big problem for Lincolnton's line. Lincolnton Will Not stop the run. Lincolnton is a top three 2A team with lots of skill on the offense. Interesting game, contrast in styles.
Still wanna see another game, to know how good Shelbys D is, but man they look solid.
Shelby vs SP will be good one.
Also maybe we meet up with Lincolnton again, know they want a rematch..lol

I've already watched the film once from the crest game....SP is BIG and as always....very physical...our DL will have its hands full with their run game no doubt( rb with 40 carries....Wow)...our offense should handle business as normal....stopping SP on the ground will be a VERY BIG TASK....should an exciting game this early in the season ...I don't see a blowout either way...but some very good football from both teams strengths....
Expect a great game. Lincolnton was going to be very good offensively even before the Surratt kid came over from EL. This one likely comes to who plays most error free.
Seems I remember a Lincolnton team that traveled down to Belmont two years ago and beat the South Point big boys on their home turf.
South Point obviously had an impressive win in their opening game. It will be a game of contrasting styles. Lincolnton will have a hard time stopping the Red bone offense as all teams do, but I think Lincolnton's offense will put points on the board as well.

I watched some of your highlights from N Lincoln, they wouldn't be able to stop any of the JV teams in Clev County, so I wouldn't get too excited about your offense just yet.

Lincolnton likes the ball in the hands of its high octane offense, SP does not like for the other team to have the ball. Those long drives make the other team impatient, mistakes are made and SP wins. That is how I see it.
SP in a shoot out 45-28. L town will answer score for score but late in the 3rd and 4th quarters, the run game for SP will take its toll on em and SP pulls away.
Lincolnton guys have been talking about their vertical passing. The only problem with that is, the South Point DB's have been taught to drill receivers in the back before the ball arrives to compensate for a lack of speed. I witnessed it last year. For some reason it seems to be legal down in Belmont.

Hitman you are absolutely correct..it is legal in Belmont. Please read the most current publication of the SP Rules and Infraction Handbook 2016. There is no infraction in Belmont for making contact early if contact is made during the open grace period. For those interested there is also an open grace period for chop blocking. The open grace period is exclusive to Raider players.
Lol....you guys are to funny....that's just traditional raider football techniques. ..been like for years and our players know what it is to protect themselves. ..their lil dbs have to do what's necessary. ...not worried about that on our receivers more so I am with that stupid chop block....all these years SP has monstrous OL and still use that chop block technique instead of just blowing people off the line....smh
