dude. you literally took the words right out of my mouth for my Asheville team. This literally will be the worst team Asheville has had since the 1980s, I feel your pain.
The SP defense is doing its job. The offense........ well let's just say it is offensive. Five times in the red zone with three field goals to show for it. And two times inside the 3 with a first down and zero points to show for it. As a matter of fact it really is minus 7 points inside the three because of a fumble and 99 yard return for a td. Ouch.
Once a Raider always a Raider!!! Just sad this team is going though this because they have the talent to be 6 and 1 right now but can't finish the game. Defense is playing pretty dang good. Wish we could have ran that Int back for TD.
No one feels sorry for you guys after years of success and your hot headed egotistical posts. Welcome to high school football where most teams have ups and downs throughout the years. It's hard to sustain a high school program. It's 1 bad year. Get over it. You're acting like a spoiled brat who's mom and dad bought everything for growing up, and then cuts them off so they can learn life lessons. Well......here's life.
I been though losing seasons with Sp and this year we are better then this but coaching is ruining this team. I feel bad for the seniors.

I don't care that you don't care. Just like Rev said, every year you talk about the "best coaching staff" in the state and one bad year comes and you're calling for their heads. We had 2 bad years prior to this year. Before that we were 45-10 under Beam. But when we had those bad years we weren't on here bashing our coaches. Grow up and take it like a man.
Dude this being going on for awhile now not just this year. We just had alot of talent it overshadowed the poor coaching mistakes. We have talent on this team but not like we have had in the past.
Ralph told us it was coming and nobody believed him. I even said he was crazy.
Who you going to get? Are you going to replace the whole staff? Or just the head coach?
I would suggest doing the exact opposite of anything East Gaston has done in their entire history for starters.
To the Raider faithful, I do not believe this is a coaching problem and to characterize it as such is both idiotic and short-sighted.
However, tweaks do need to be made and I have faith that they will in time but this practice of blaming individual players for losses is simply disgusting behavior and should stop immediately.
This team will turn the corner, but in the meantime, please take a step back and look at what you are doing. There is a reason that this site is a shell of what it once was and it's because of the lazy, hateful rhetoric that's spewed in threads just like this one. Stop setting a bad example for the children that attend these schools and play on these teams.

If I were a coach anywhere I would love to have that SP defense. Offensive line is very solid as well. At least in game 2 that I attended. From an outsider I was surprised by some of the offensive calls but more surprised at the lack of talent in the backfield. If not already, the line will lose confidence in the lack of success in moving the ball. Hope you guys turn the tide. Great school to watch a game.
I still wouldn't count SP out as winning or tying for conference champs. I see Ashbrook, Forestview or Stuart Cramer being able to knock off Hunter Huss. Whenever a conference team beats SP, that is their trophy. The SP offense has to get their act together and seeing that they are not that fast, it could be as simple as more hard counts to keep the defense in check.
no dog in this fight but i have kept up with south point. whats happenning with them. seems after they beat a pretty good crest team things have kinda went downhill from there.
So true. Like I said the South will rise again. This team is not giving up and neither I'm I. Still a lot of football to be played. The hard work will pay off.
Look I can't stand SP anymore than the next guy in Cleveland county...but as the things stand right now, y'all need to pick yourselves up and fast... The east is making us all look stupid right now and that is not how it's suppose to be. It's time to wake up and reclaim our rightful title over here in the west. We're better hands down.

Everybody so scared to say anything about the coaches bc we have won so much but choked in the playoffs. Yes we can still win this conference but it's got to start with changing stuff up and quit playing daddy ball.
Talk is nothing but TALK, unless it comes from with inside the coaches adjustments it will not change.
