It's been said since Spring that he was pushing to start. I think it was even said point blank he's more athletic, but was having too many freshman moments to take the reigns in spring, with optimism that would clean up.

Stewart at 3rd string means some sides are really showing out. I'm sure he's most talented physically, but these dudes must be looking good to keep him down, even if he's just not as far along in awareness.
