Funny thing is, the things Calipari's teams have gotten in trouble for are unrelated to the way he gets players.
At UMass, they had to vacate their Final Four because Camby was in contact with and accepted financial assistant from an agent. It had nothing to do with Camby's recruitment or how Calipari landed him.
At Memphis, they are getting in trouble in large part because Derek Rose had someone take his ACT for him, and they may have to vacate their Final Four because of it. Again, that had nothing to do with Rose's recruitment or how Calipari was able to sign him.
None of those incidents have anything to do with what he does with Worldwide Wes and how Wes gets courtside seats to his team's games, and how Wes basically runs Calipari's recruiting ring.
That's what I'm saying, the NCAA may eventually get him on something, but it won't be for the way he makes a mockery of the recruiting process. He's using the same loopholes everyone else uses, except he does it to the largest degree, and the NCAA can't do anything about it. The only thing they can do is try to catch him in something else that they can regulate. The fact that he's thumbing his nose at the NCAA and making college basketball look bad will put him under more intense scrutiny, but they won't get him unless they can find something else to get him on besides his recruiting ways.
