Just a note to show some of the improvement for this team as they have progressed after a very rough out of conference stretch. Please note that this thread was not started to regenerate comments about the coach and her tenure, contract etc. But rather just as a statement to show how the kids are getting better. Thanks.
1. We are fourth in the B1G in 3-Point FG % at 36.7
2. We lead in scoring defense at 59.7 ppg
3. We are #3 in FG percentage defense
4. We are tied for second in steals at 10.2 per game.
5. We are 5th in turnover margin at a +1.8 (surprising to me)
6. We are 8th (middle of pack) in 3-point makes per game with 6. Michigan and MSU lead with 7.8 per game while Purdue is last with 3.8 per game.
7. We are last and next to last in offensive and defensive rebounding Need to get better!
8. We are middle of the conference in free throw pct even though the player with the most fta for us (Kandiss) is averaging 42.5%. Both Shrita and KK averaging over 90% but only have 40-44 attempts.
Nothing much to take from all this but I thought it was an interesting exercise. Sort of surprised at the 3-pt shooting stats.
