All statistics through 4/5.
New York coronavirus-related ICU admissions since initial cases: 4,380
New York coronavirus-related hospital admissions since since initial cases: 16,602
New York coronavirus-related hospital discharges: 13,325
Minimum time in New York from hospital admittance to discharge: 2 days
Minimum time in Syracuse from hospital admittance to discharge: 11 days
*I tracked this one because there was a lot of commentary only referencing the most severe cases needing 3-6 weeks of hospitalization, and not much other data.
I want to check back in a couple of days as their cases were theoretically peaking tomorrow according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. Just from these numbers hospital usage appears to have peaked on 3/31 at 5,890 beds (admissions to date minus discharges to date).
