Social Media for your team

I'm curious which social media outlets do your team utilize? We have a Facebook account, Instagram, Twitter and website. It's a lot of work but the fans and players seem to enjoy it. I try to learn what others have success with. Thanks!

All Clinton has is a twitter page which is surprising with the history and the following we have I actually thought about making a Facebook Page myself....would be nice for the die hard fans to have a website I seen a couple other schools and im jealous

I really enjoying working on ours. I was surprised when I started everything how few teams have anything. I know Shelby has a nice looking website. Our Facebook page is over 1800 followers now. I don't spend as much time on Instagram and Twitter as I should.

Clinton does have a live radio Broadcast on the Internet and local cable channel. Have had that for last 15yrs. Making even more improvements with the new mixlr feed. Go horses!

Burns has facebook twitfer and a 24 hour newschannel on local cable .

As nice as Reidsville's facebook and web site is (and you do a good job Paul)....it's sad that our local cable TV channel ignores local sports and a town that use to have 2 AM radio stations, (one of which always covered high school football and basketball)......We now have NONE...............

I was thinking more social media wise i.e Facebook,Twitter etc....I love the broadcast and mixlr app makes it even better.....but would love to see a actually webpage like Thomasville,Shelby,Reidsville....I'm thinking of making a FB page for pics,articles,score updates etc like the Clinton Dark Horse athletics twitter page

I suggest using a template service like Wix for your website. It takes a little while to master the toolbar but once you get the hang of it, it's really pretty easy.
I suggest creating a "page" on Facebook vs a group. It will attract a lot more people. We switched ours about 2 years ago. We went from 700 and some group members to almost 1900.

I need to concentrate more on Instagram and Twitter along with Snapchat. Kids hardly use Facebook anymore. My kids tell me it's for old people lol.

North Surry has a Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and I run the league lineup page (need to update it with the roster soon.)

It's amazing how social media makes a difference for programs it's one of the +'s of it all.

I can't seem the Reidsville schedule anywhere. Am I missing something.

Schedules for any school are really hard to find.............Greensboro News and Record had something posted a couple of weeks ago....I do know Reidsville's scheduling is really screwy with 4 straight away games with a bye week (sept 23rd) sandwiching in the middle of that before coming back home........Don't know why we can't come up with a better system than that....not very fair to the players or the fans...........5 home games, 6 away.............McMichael, Morehead, Cummings, Bartlett Yancey and Carrboro are the HOME games...............Rockingham County, Northern Guilford, HP Andrews, NW Guilford, Graham, and Jordan-Matthews are the AWAY games (that is a killer road schedule)..............................
