Message: <blockquote data-quote="TruWVblu" data-source="post: 129519443" data-attributes="member: 1797404">Wow.  Now there is some positive spin in Holgorsen's direction.  You act as if Dana is not asking for an extension and that it his choice not to have one.  The truth is, we have a new AD that did not hire the head coach and he is not convinced he is the right guy to run his program for the long term.  A contract extension is something that has to be earned and DH has not yet done that.  Many have said that him not getting an extension hurts the program.  Well, so does losing to Kansas and Iowa State.  With that said, I am hopeful that he will continue the improvement we saw in the bowl game this coming season.  It is really up to him and after 5 seasons at the helm that is the way it should be.  It will all go the way it is supposed to after this season.</blockquote>
