Just ordered the 3/4 sleeve in "asphalt". Get you a 3/4 sleeve with maroon and you will be cooking with GAS.

It's perfect. Awesome. I'd get a damn nuther one if your t-shirt supplier had maroon sleeves. No joke.

If I was Universal I would totally allow that, it will increase the number of people that watch The Big Lebowski just to see what it's about. Just like Comcast/NBC/SNL allows the More Cowbell skit. Can't use "The Dude" or "Dude" with that imagery I imagine. But "Abides" is free use as well as "Maroon".

My understanding is that if a company is aware of a trademark infringement and does nothing about it, then that can be taken as implicit permission for others to use it. I.e., they can lose the trademark.

Now, I'm pretty sure I learned that on Reddit, so take it for what it's worth.
