Any idea if this is early or late game Saturday? Haven't seen anything yet. Is this a scheduling decision and not pre determined, or have i just not found it?

No matter what, ALL THE PRESSURE will be on Illinois on Saturday.

They were supposed to be in the Elite8 this season - or at least had a super great shot at it - and Iowa was just supposed to make the Dance and maybe get 1 win.

Hawks have been playing with a huge stack of house money ever since last Thursday night.

Sounds like the thought process against FL. But we shot like **** and still won. Feels like a team of density. Let’s go!

Iowa would not be in it this late in this late in the Big 10 tournament.
It’s true. I thought about this last night and remember posting it a few years ago during Frans time at Iowa. The BIG has typically been a big man dominated league. Every good team typically had a banger that was the focal point of other teams defenses. And the BIG was just a freaking grind with teams banging on each other, which it still is but maybe not quite as much as it had been. Come NCAA time, it’s a guard oriented tournament, and that’s why I think the BIG had struggled to make noise in prior years. Now every BIG team left has stud guards. I think that’s part of why Iowa is having success now in the tourney, our guards are playing great and it isn’t as much of a necessity having a stud big man. A guy like Cam is actually really good for these types of games, excellent defender that doesn’t even care to score, just does the dirty work.
