Any thoughts on Nick Smeltzer getting kicked out of his National Honor Society at school as a result of what he did?

Smeltzer cheated and costed Salem a state shot.
Why not kick him out, he admitted he cheated therefore he should be punished.

The little cheater also recently got caught stealing an upcoming math test off of a teacher's desk. He didnt want to work hard and study like a normal honest person, but took the easy way out and cheated not only himself, but his fellow classmates as well. The teacher was informed about what had happened and she changed the test and made it much more difficult, therefore punishing many honest students for his selfish mistake. I shouldnt say mistake because it was not a mistake, but intentional. He continues to do things like this and never learn his lesson. It is my personal opinion that he should be locked in a cage like a rabid dog and never released for any purpose... ever! He is already out of the National Honor Society for his other cheating incodent, so what is left but to jail him. Please let me know if you agree or disagree.

Disagree. First of all, Smeltzer wasn't the only one who had the questions from the math test. Another student actually sat next to the teachers desk and copied the questions to the test down on his own piece of paper. You really can't put all the blame on Smeltzer for the teacher changing the test. And anyways, why did the teacher leave her tests sitting on the desk, in plain view, in the first place?

Second of all, I never knew someone could be jailed when they didn't do something against the law.

Third of all, no one really cares about your opinion, since you have been on the salem golf team for three years and you still have never played in an important match.

Fourth of all, what is an "incodent". I know what an "incident" is, but I am not sure what an "incodent" is.

Finally, I would just like to say that it is dumb to get on the computer, talk trash, and kick a man when he's down. Don't you folks have anything better or more meaningful to do? What Smeltzer has done recently has been unexcusable and blatently wrong. However, you can't expect the man to bounce back with all this criticism. I just think that everyone needs to give the kid a break. He deserves better than to be called a "cheater." He's a descent kid at heart and he's a descent golfer. I think he'll have a good senior season and I wish him the best.

Hhs sports hero:

I'm sorry to inform you, but you have one of your facts wrong. Smeltzer never "costed Salem a state shot." The fact of the matter is that Smeltzer did what he did in an attempt to get Salem into states. Salem lost to L.B. by a shot. Therefore, Blacksburg and L.B. went to states and Salem did not. Smeltzer did not cost Salem a state shot, because Salem had already choked that day, and cost themselves a state shot.
