I’ve got Andrews winning this one pretty easily, but not as easily as some of the other games. Murphy has shown signs of strength but they have also struggled with teams that Andrews walked. I’ve got Andrews 28-14
I highly doubt it, not when you have commissioners absurd enough to give back a 50 million grant to the state over petty personal agenda. Well actually I should say one commisioner, Stiles, he is the circus ringleader and Griggs just follows his lead like a lapdog. Between the DSS mess and now this fiasco Cherokee County is quickly becoming a joke and embarrassment in Raleigh.Two brothers that went their on way are soon to be reunited.
Did you compare how the teams did against Robbinsville?
I just about guarantee this will not be an easy game for either team. Andrews is awesome this year but they will be going against history and the mystique of The Hill (worth about a TD at least), and if Murphy plays well, it will be the toughest game Andrews will have played in all season. Should be a great game! Hope both teams play well and come out with no injuries. Hoping for a huge crowd too, like in the big SMC games of the past.

I think Murphy is the only school that renewed their contract with FYN.
That's like renewing a contract with yourself.
They can throw. They are a run to setup the pass team and are very opportunistic.
They don’t need to pass much. Weaver is much more of a football player and more dangerous than Dula from Draughn. I’d pick him first all day long. He plays the entire game too.
Andrews will beat the brakes outta Murphy.. embarass them on there field tommorow night. Murphy QB will be running for his life more than Swain game. Murphy line and QB wont be able to handle pressure from #58 and Cats pass rush. #7 and #5 will do what they want on O because Murphy D is soft in the middle. Cats by 30

Wrong Stats don't lie......Dula would had the single game yards rushing record if they didn't take him out last year at the end of the 3rd qt. with 478 yds....less than 40 yards short.....but that's in the records at 6th.
Why did you leave the Robbinsville score out?
Dula not started but the last 5 games and has about 950 yards and he been used sparingly.....he rolled Mitchell for 219 yds. 23 carries and 5 tds in the 56-21 rout and Draughn took out alot of starters with 11 minutes left in 4th. That's the only team he has had over 20 carries. Draughns offense is a joy to watch......they spread and stretch you out the the passing then turns there line and Dula and Tillery and Cutting ham loose.
Murphy will have to play a good clean game of football. If they keep their penalties in check they will make a game of it. As far as scores go you can throw the record books out when Swain and Murphy play. That’s a rivalry game and your gonna take their best shot. I’ve seen bad Murphy teams give swain all they want and it’s certainly been the other way around as well.
I’ll pull for Andrews 364 days out of the year. Just not when they play Murphy. What Andrews has done is nothing short of amazing. I never thought I’d see the day I’d see Murphy having to play Andrews for a SMC championship. Hats off to them kids.
I see this as a game decided by the does and doesn't. Murphy does turnover the ball over and get called for undisciplined penalities. Andrews doesn't do either. I will take Andrews.
17......that's close enough......like the 35 Draughn hung on them at Draughn......you will come back with 62-14.......ya Mitchell put 20 pts on in the 4th quarter in that game.....Draughn called the dogs off with 11 minutes left in the 4th. Or Draughn would of hung possibly 70 on Mitchell......and the kids at Draughn are watching what you people post. Just drives them more so ya......Love to see Mitchell again
