I've been very critical of Howard. I still do no think he is the QB that can get to the top of this league but I will be the first to say he has looked much better today. Not a great throw on the int. but much better today. Much much better so far. I hope he continues to improve. That is the key to this team getting better.
It is concerning to me that our high profile big qb recruits are ending up at other positions. Crest at a slash and now I guess Sills is behind Chug on the depth chart. I wonder why this is happening. It makes me wonder if they are recruiting the type of players they want for this offense. These athletic guys in my opinion would be very effective in this offense. With that said Sills looks like he has potential at WR.
Hen has made quite a few good throws today. Even his under throws have just been slight and hasn't sailed any over the receivers. The big gain to Sills was a terrific play all around by Howard.
I wonder if some of the 3rd and 4th and short deep balls are designed or Howard choosing to throw that route instead of a shorter read.
