Kelly Hines is reporting that they both had season ending surgeries today. Skipper had back surgery and President had surgery on his ankle. Wonder if Skipper herniated a disc. Might end his career if they had to fuse vertebrae together. We all saw what happened to President’s ankle. He’s so injury prone. Needs to retire.

We might get some extended Davis Brin sightings the next 3 games

Sad day for a President, big change in his life, bet he handles it like a champ

Tough with Skipper too, hope the kid is OK, maybe that Temple game was more pain than anguish.

Good luck to both. Hope Skipper can come back.

Rotten luck for those two. On the other hand, Boomer's confidence has to be soaring, not to mention O-lines. Memphis D is tougher but ours ain't chopped liver. And wow, are we deeeeep @ RB. Bring on Los Tigres!

And apparently Bowling is done for the season as well.
Bowling's decision was actually made a couple weeks ago but was kept quiet. He went to see a specialist in Dallas over the weekend that TU played at Arkansas. He had to decide to play and have surgery after the season, and miss the combine...or have surgery now, miss the rest of the season, but be ready for the combine. He did what was best for his future.

He could not play on his knee without doing further damage. It had to be fixed to give him an opportunity to move on to the next level. After the season surgery was never an option.

He made the right decision. Best of luck to him in the future!

Tyler is a great kid with a fantastic family. He deserves the opportunity to go do great things (and he will, even after his football playing days). Definitely wish him the best of luck now and in the future!

Thanks for the clarification...I was under the impression he could've played on it.
