Singh is definitely not going to be studying chemistry. No signs of it at Seton Hall this year.

Was never really on any RU list for months or over a year....may reclassify to 2015,which may be a bet on the player not blowing up next year or convincing him to perhaps enroll early....somewhat problematic to keep track of since leaving NJ. Was suspended for discipline earlier this season......explosive shooter, but not sure how much upside is there when all is said and done.

Good signing overall for SHU, they have not recruited well at all, since opening the Tiny Morton door for Whitehead etc...In Big East, you need players that can stretch the defense and play on perimeter to defend other teams forwards, where there isn't a lot of banging or physical play.

No reason to be jealous. Veer Singh is rated by Scout as Top 80 in the nation.

He's a talented young player joining a team that has a lot of talented young players.

I wouldn't mind having SHU's problems right now. It beats the abyss we're staring into.

Singh did reclassify as a 2015. Otherwise, he wouldn't have committed this early. He needs to bulk up. He also needs to mature and avoid disciplinary issues.

Stop with the money BS. He chose SHU over Rutgers. You guys had a good shot but I believed from last November to now we were the favorite.

Either school would have been a good choice for Singh since he wanted to stay local because of family connections.

Good not great player.

Think this is a player who fell off the radar under Eddie. I don't think he'll develop into a star by any means, but this is the type of player I personally think we need to recruit more of to allow us to play more of a mid-major style which relies more on heady consistent shooters who limit mistakes and allow overmatched teams to even the playing field a little. Unfortunately, that is not the type of player that our staff goes after.

Who from his inner circle did SHU hire and to what position?

HallDan,

Dollarbill puts the '$$$$$' after every post, whether it's about Rutgers, football, basketball or anything else, including Seton Hall.

Hence his name.

Can I interest you in our coach??? I don't know how Willard pulled this one out...maybe Shaheen had more to do with it, but the problem that the world has seen is can Willard coach a team up to win a few games after February 1st? We haven't seen it yet in five years. I think it's less about chemistry and more about the chemistry teacher....

I don't know the Big East landscape in 2015-16, but Whitehead, Rodriguez, Carrington, Delgado and Gibbs should be enough for a tournament bid. They were freshman this year so it's not easy blending upperclassman with a heralded recruiting class.

There are a lot of question marks...first is will Gibbs be back since he can transfer as a graduate this year and he's not a fan of Willard. The second is that Willard hasn't proven he can blend a shake much less basketball talent. I know you guys have problems, but you won't likely see this team on Selection Sunday while KW is coaching.

Not disappointed in losing out this one.....saw him play last year and on the Nike EYBL circuit this past summer and he has a ways to go. He has the size and can shoot it pretty well but he was not really good defensively or with putting the ball on the floor. At 6'6"-6'7" I would've expected him to be able to do more.
