He gets next year for sure. But if we lose Cliff and Jones after this year - anything is possible.

I think he's good no matter what- after this yr and next. But after the 23-24, their might have to be a discussion. Recruiting is so bad, that this thing could be on the verge of going back to doormat, non competitive status.

It won’t happen this year, and it shouldn’t. After next season is a different discussion, depending on results.

With that said, this is a business. It’s not a make the alums feel good, it’s a business. And if there’s a coach out there within reach that you feel can significantly improve your business - you make a move on it and you don’t look back.

It only takes a couple of idiotic postings to start the discussion.....the main item of thought was that making the NCAAs every year was suddenly the standard.....very few programs are in the NCAAS every year. Can it be every 2 out of 4 years, 1 out of 4....or 3 out of 4 years, which over a 10 year span is excellent.

Still not sure where RU and the floor is. We are in a place where recruiting and the portal either is a blessing or curse.....if you make a mistake in recruiting, the portal is hopefully your chance. Pike has to shore up the recruiting this spring with 2022 kids and get 2023 going.

If we win 12 and then 10 next year his job should most definitely be in jeopardy. You just can't fall off a cliff like that. Hobbs would be stupid to not strongly consider making changes at that point. Season tickets would tank once again under that scenario.
