SIAP I-29 Traffic

Left Council Bluffs at 11 am yesterday, arrived hotel Overland Park 4 pm. Traffic was a nightmare because of the volume of our fans going down and lane closures in three places. What the hell is Missouri DOT thinking of closing lanes before Labor Day weekend?

Coming home this morning wasn't as bad, but still came to a dead stop twice on I-29 north. One due to construction and one due to lane closure. It took an extra 50 minutes to get home.

We got home okay this morning, but yeah, it was 5 hours to our hotel in North KC.

We left at 9am and it took 4.5 to get from Omaha to our hotel by the stadium. Sitting still on I-29 sucked but it sounds like it got worse

Took us six hours! But what a great game and experience. Watching the Royals on Husker night tonight so made it a sports weekend in KC.

It was worse in 98 when Nebraska played Oklahoma state. People were getting out of cars I-435 to get to stadium. Memo!!! If Nebraska plays in KC again.Plan ahead.

Yeah, if we were to go again, we'd probably go down the day before.
