Looks like our shooting in midrange game was 3 for 10 or 30%, which is not good and supports the analytics to shoot from 3 or by the basket as much as possible.

I noticed the shot selection was much worse this game visually watching it.

anybody know where there is +/- included in box scores? I know it's flawed but still like looking at it.

At least a couple shots in that left short corner are from BLOBs, which is ludicrous

StatBroadcast has it, I think it's the most comprehensive for non-advanced metrics

Maine was extended out to cover the 3 pretty well. Badalau got open early but not much after they adjusted. The midrange was open a lot which was probably by design. There are many college coaches that purposely run defense that leaves the midrange open to force teams to shoot that shot.

Agree, I think better defenses will easily force us into taking midranges because we will most likely not have a consistent counter.
