Behavior therapist, lying flat on his back in the middle of the road with his hands up in the air, talking with officers, three of them surrounding him, trying to calm the officers by reinforcing to them he has no weapons and the autistic man sitting beside him has a toy truck...officer fires three rounds, gets shot in the leg, he asks the officer why he shot him, officer responds "I don't know". Police union president (?) rep(?) says officer was firing at the autistic man sitting beside him....?

What may or may not be relevant, the man that was shot was black, the autistic man is Caucasian or Hispanic and the officer was Hispanic.

Kind of kills the narrative for you, the cop was aiming for the Caucasian autistic man and missed.

Typical libtard trying to find a racial problem where none exists.

But when the man that was shot asked the officer why he shot him, his reply was "I don't know". He didn't say, I was aiming for the autistic guy (that was 5 feet away). LOL.

Yeah...not sure what is funny about that.

A few things wrong with your statement in defense of the cop:

1. He missed from this distance? That makes me worry about his abilities.

2. The autistic guy had a toy, which was told to the cop by the counselor, and was sitting.....how was that a "threat" to shoot?

Now, defend all you want but this is a bad shooting.

He was shot in the lower leg. 1-2 feet away at most. Autistic guys center mass way closer than the guy who was shot. But please keep going.

I didn't say anything about how bad the cop's aim was. I just read the story the cop is giving, and told you that.

I know you don't get it. The officer either was trying to shoot a black man lying flat on his back, with his hands raised and talking to officers or he shot an autistic man sitting in the road five feet away and missed that badly, with three shots and both of the men were unarmed.

Tragic and sad......You never know what to expect when you go into some bad areas. My wife while doing her social work job in Annapolis was threatened by a thug with a steel pipe who said he was going to smash her car windows. Some bystanders shouted to her that the guy was just teasing. What do you think would have happened if she had been an undercover cop?

I've seen this and it appears to be very tragic. however, for you to equate this with a possible mass shooting is really ridiculous. Many on here have wanted the cops to wing the perp, one does and he's a bad shot! Looks like a complete over the top response. Look for more of the same as more police are targeted by people and the cops get more and more edgy.

Yeah, **** you're right. A man lying flat on his back with his hands raised and calmly talking with the police being shot doesn't deserve any reaction here and my consternation is way off base.[winking]

I agreed with you but your equalization of this with a possible isis attack is stretch Armstrong. My guess is that you two have history and you are upset that he never posts about bad cop shootings? Is that right? I said he will be fired and prosecuted, my guess unless there's more here that we don't know.
