Shelby vs Freedom

I saw Freedom at Crest Wed.
A team that looks like a regular. Freedom team size wise.
Qb looks like 6.2 -6-3. He was shakey for a good bit wed. He finally got going Late in scrimmage.
The rb, that's suppose to be really good was carried off with ankle injury, so dont know if he will play.
I'm sure late in season they will have improved, noticed there running a spread offense.
As for Shelby there D looks nasty not alot size on d-line but great Lb play and DE.,and very fast.
Offense struggled Fri. Oline has no experience , but coaches are working hard to fix. The talents there, just gotta use it..

Several of us are making the trip to support the new Freedom coach. Haven't been there since Shelby beat us in playoffs. Tough one For Coach Little to start out with. But that is one of the reasons he took that job. Tired of playing weak 1a schools in our conference. Though I know very little about Shelby I do not think Freedom nor many people will score many points on their defense this year. I know they lost 2 or 3 big recruits but still have many on that defense that are being highly recruited or already committed. Interesting to see how each team moves ball. Freedom has experienced players back but new coach their and new system. Shelby has a lot of talent of offense but all new who haven't played together so chemistry and lack of time together could help Freedom. Hope the RB for Freedom is back. Any word how long he is out or when he will be back? Wet field could also be a interesting factor in ths matchup. Legion games going on wish I could see a game before the football game but we have a teetime

QB (#3) returns as the starter for his Junior season after putting up 3,244 yards and 30 TDs passing and running for another 350 yards and 6 TDs.
They return the top 2 WRs from last season (#2 - 76 catches, 886 yards, 8 TDs) and (#4 - 40 catches, 602 yards, 9 TDs).
Also return the top 3 rushers from last season:
#7 - 590 yards, 6 TDs
#5 - 175 yards, 1 TD
#3 (QB) - 350 yards, 6 TD
Defense returns 6 of the top 8 tacklers.
Shelby's offense must play cleaner than they played in the two scrimmages last week - replacing a lot of players and will take a little while to gel.
This game is typically close.

That’s wishful thinking by the Herald. Shelby looked a little rough at the Jamboree but a rough looking Shelby will still beat an underachiever like Freedom.
