It's not a bad song. Rock has been out of the mainstream for maybe 20 years by now. So, it was probably one of the last rock anthems to find success. They overplayed the hell outta Welcome to the Jungle, Thunderstruck and Enter Sandman so much that I don't care if I ever hear them again. What else are they going to play? Kanye?

Wish it would have stayed tied to soccer. It’s way overused now. I really like Jack White, and most of his music

A one hit wonder, but yeah that’s a good song.
An 11-time Grammy winner, Jack White is a one hit wonder?

I agree with the sentiment, but who cares what the Grammys think.

Have always hated that song. As a musician, it's akin to hearing someone play the riff to smoke on the water as a warm up or someone with an acoustic guitar playing wagon wheel. I am so proud I have never heard that garbage in memorial stadium

Smoke on the Water has an awesome riff. Blackmore was the master.

Jack White is one of the most talented artists out there currently.
His new songs are special.

Dude is eclectic, inventive and a freakin rockstar. Hell, if anyone else needs a point of reference, Prince was a fan of jack White. White owns an released Prince album called Camille that will soon see the light of day.

this the second best from them I like

Quite the one hit wonder………..
I play a 3 hour weekly show on our local radio station, Elephant came out early during my 19 year, so far, run. Jack White is a regular play on my shows. So immensely talented in so many genres of music. He is rooted in the Blues.

Jack White and Ruby Amanfu:

I was 10 in 75, so I'm listening to zep,floyd,skynard,stones,eagles,dead,ac/dc, pretty much rock in it's prime..
so I kinda looked down on the 80's...but then every decade has bands I like, like level 42 in the 80's, the stone temple pilots were good, and jack white is another one who stands out.

Jack White threw away more good ideas than most pop musicians ever have.

They're now chanting this at the ALDS. JFC people, just stop.
Sorry you’re getting destroyed in this thread but I’m going to pile on. This song and Jack White are f*^%#* awesome and I’ve never heard of anyone who doesn’t like him.

Perhaps I wasn't clear, I don't mind the White Stripes as a band but the "oh oh oh oh" chant is beyond dumb and overdone.

I celebrate the White Stripes’ entire catalog.

I detest when we play that, “Stand up and Shout!”, clip. Just hate it! Iowa plays the same clip!
