With 4 starters back and so much talent SHU should win. On top of that I think Iowa lost 4 starters.
Its Heresy I tell you, pure heresy to talk this way about shoe.
Their fans are clowns so I understand that sentiment.
That written when I was at Livingston HS ('83-'85) we used to go to South Orange to see all those great Big East games. Ewing, Mullin, Pearl, Berry, Pinckney, etc., etc. Also Played against Mark Bryant in high school, and knew his family so I never really hated SHU.
My favorite times on these boards was during the Waters era. Man, did I hate "shoe" during those days. My favorite ever post was when, I believe PatrickRU, did a SHU recruiting class and analysis that included Mr. Peanut, etc. Too funny.
Understandable, but it has to make you feel good that if Willard is good, he was the choice of your AD, which augurs well for Pikiell. Not to far of a leap, I don't think.
Seton Hall looked really tough last night. I don't like them one bit but I watched to see how they would do. They are very fast, handle the ball well and have shooters to knock it down. That's going to be a tough game for us whether it was at home or on the road.
For the time being I'm impressed that we were able to cruise to a comfortable win over DePaul. SHU is a bit out of our league right now. They're a talented, gritty team that's been playing together for a few years.
I would say they looked just as good as anyone of the quality big 10 teams we have to play. That one freshman sharp shooter didn't look like a freshman at all. Kid is from Trenton. Wish we had him.
I was skeptical on whether Willard was going to get it done as well but I have to give him credit. I believe our coach will bring in kids like that and I know he's going to succeed. You can see that right now with how he's changed the kids we have.

SH looks solid. How are they not ranked and not get any votes? Must be a Joisey thing. Switched between this game and RU. Wow what a difference in talent between channels.
