Can you honestly say that this program has improved even one iota under Holgorsen?

Let's look at one statistic of how Dana-coached teams always fall short:

Since 2012, in games against Power-5 conference opponents not in the Little 12, WVU is 5-6. Of those 5 wins, 3 are over awful Maryland teams and one is over a horrible Missouri team. The other win is over Fraud Graham and Arizona State.

Holgorsen hasn't beaten a legit Power-5 conference team outside of the Little 12 in 6 years.

Virginia Tech beating us tonight had to be the College Football Lock of the Year and we're not even to Labor Day. Dana-coached teams will always find a way to lose.

VT will go 7-5 this year in the ACC....

Well I think it has improved and is in a good position, however I felt like we should have kicked a FG in the 1st Qtr. end result was like a turnover. His temper tantrum that cost us 15 yds was costly. I felt like despite hanging in the game we basically lost the field position all night. Tough loss, big stage and we again fail to step up.

The play calling continues to be suspect even though DH gave that to JS for now. Head scratching calls to start the game and to end it. Coaching in general seems to be a weak point ...just sayin.'

Under Holgorsen, we always find ways to lose when we play a medicore or better teams. Always. How is that improvement?

The improvement I see is the level of athletes we have brought in and the depth we have built to compete. We rewarded a coach with a new contract and somehow people are happy with 8,9,10 wins and getting to a bowl. So when we lose that big game those defenders of Dana come back and defend being competitive and a winning season. SMH

Thanks for doing the research. I knew it wasn't good, but I honestly didn't know it was quite that bad. In seven seasons, he has beaten exactly two P5 non-conference opponents that finished the year with a winning record: The 10-4 Clemson ACC champs of 2011 in the Orange Bowl and a 7-6 Maryland team in 2014. That's it.

And that 7-6 Maryland team had one win over a I-AA (James Madison). So, was it really a winning record?

Holgs has improved the Mountaineers across the board by 2%. I cannot prove this but I will get into specifics if I must. Holgs makes a boat load of money. You would expect at least a 3.33% upgrade over Rich Rod. Warez

Yes I can, twist numbers and facts the same as you.
