It’s always nice when you can send the backup (Colon) and he brings home bronze.

I'm familiar with how the small section of die hard wrestling fans can follow and watch the event but in order to "grow" the sport we will need much better than this...

It's why I think the continued growth of college wrestling is key and why the conversations about the RTC issue and its potential fallout aren't going anywhere.

Nice save...;)

Cox (92 kg) and Dake (79 kg) won gold. Dake did not give up a single point the entire tournament.

Gilman (57 kg) dropped his bronze bout and finished 5th.

Snyder faces Sadulaev (RUS) tomorrow for gold. Should be a good one, even though the team title is out of reach this time.

WFS
Winchester (55 kg) goes for bronze tomorrow. Burkett (59 kg) did not medal.

Following worlds this year just further shows how stinking crazy John Smiths feat of 6 straight world/Olympic golds is.

100%. Watching absolute titans like Burroughs and Synder only get to three in a row makes what Smith did almost unbelievable.

For those of us that have followed the cowboys over the years, the technique that Snyder got pinned with also won a cowboy a big 12 title. Ty Wilcox....He had an outstanding tournament in 2000 and hit it on Joe Heskett in the finals.. Its also on one of Coach Smiths technique videos.
