I've seen a couple clips of Josh Johnson running routes and getting off the line...looks good and has drawn praise from scouts.
Chris Paul- has dominated drills from all accounts and is making guys look silly. A couple of the draft guys think his stock is rising to a mid level pick right now (round 4 or 5). Hoping his combine drills show the same because we all know his Wunderlich score is going to be off the charts. When was the last time TU had 3 guys get drafted in the same draft? Looking at maybe Josh Johnson, Paul, and Tyler Smith in this one.

Josh is not at the Senior Bowl. He’s at the Shrine Game…
Sorry, didn't realize they were in different places.
And I didn't realize they had done away with the wunderlich tests. Are some teams still asking potential picks to complete some sort of test that combines personality, IQ, and human decency?

Weren’t you saying a couple of months ago that Paul should be benched?

I think they now use a test designed by a guy from Baruch named Harold Goldstein who I know, respect and have worked with closely before to design selection systems.

When I would interview graduating Business Majors at OU and OSU, they would take two Wonderlic test if they were selected for a second interview.
It was amazing how low some students would score. Some would score low with high GPA's.

A GPA is thought to be a reflection of both cognitive ability and personality traits such as conscientiousness and openness to experience. Still, it would be hard to get a great GPA and have low cognitive ability - unless the GPA is a gift and not a real reflection of performance. If everyone gets good grades, grades mean nothing.

Employment testing is what I do day in and day out for a living. Design them. Research them. Assist organizations in implementing them.

I had heard ability has never been the issue with Chris Paul as a prospect, but that there are or at least were some potential long term medical concerns at play.

100% own that. And maybe our system made him look like a detriment. And I was commenting what I was observing. I wish him all the success he can have.

He certainly checks the box on intangibles as well. By all indications he is a great teammate, he has been a dynamic leader on the team and on campus, and all around great kid. I hope he lands in a good situation and has a great career. Definitely the kind of kid you root for!

I’m watching the Senior Bowl practice and cannot fathom how South Alabama Jaguars can have an indoor practice
facility and Tulsa University has zilch, nada and a big zero indoor arena .

It shouldn't hurt C. Pauls resume, aside from being a superb athlete, that he was a finalist for 2, maybe 3 post-season awards in the social, non-athletic categories, including being the top-dog in the NCAA's student athlete committee.
