ESPN had it exactly right yesterday. Kansas lacks a dynamic playmaker, a go to guy. They have some nice players but they don’t have a guy that can put him on his back. And Thompson certainly isn’t the answer. In the few games I did watch him play (against teams with a pulse), he didn’t look particularly good.

With a crushing probation likely, I expect Self to jump to the pros when the right job opens. I also expect Thompson and others to go portal when that happens.
