If we lose to Arkansas it looks as if we’ll fall to the 5 seed behind Mizzou and miss out on a second round bye. Not sure if we can drop behind Vandy To #6.

Not necessarily
If Auburn beats Tennessee we’ll be the 4 seed
And if the Cats win then we’ll be the 3 seed
If we lose today and Mizzou wins we’ll be tied with them. Wouldn’t we fall behind them due to our head-to-head loss?

How sad is it that UK fans have to do the “what if” game on getting the double bye.
That is what burns me up. The returning Player of The Year, new high school All Americans one a first round pick, free agents that had a reputation they could shoot and some returning players with a least some experience.

And here we are the last game of the regular season hoping somebody beats somebody so we can get that double bye. Sorry sorry sorry.

Not entering the fault argument, but none of those players have been what we thought except maybe Cason and the times he has gone out it has killed us and gave us hard to ver come losses

If Auburn had beaten Alabama like they should have and A&M beats Bama today it would been A&M #1 seed and Bama #2 seed. Had that happened it been interesting as a loss by Kentucky today likely puts us at 4 or 5 seed and would been opposite as Bama.

Hopefully we just win today

Running though the scenarios the 4 games that impact Kentucky the most on where they will finish in seeding and who the possible opponents would be.

If Kentucky wins, Tenn loses, Missouri wins, Vandy wins
3 Kentucky (12-6)
4 Missouri (11-7) 2-0
5 Tennessee (11-7) 1-2...1-0 vs Bama
6 Vandy (11-7) 1-2...0-2 vs Bama

If Kentucky wins, Tenn wins, Missouri wins, Vandy could win or lose won't matter in this one
3 Kentucky (12-6) 2-0
4 Tennessee (12-6) 0-2
5 Missouri (11-7) 1-0
6 Vandy (11-7) 0-1 or Vandy (10-8)

If Kentucky loses, Tenn wins, Missouri wins, Vandy wins then
3 Tennessee (12-6)
4 Missouri (11-7) 3-0
5 Kentucky (11-7) 1-2 ... 1-0 vs A&M
6 Vandy (11-7) 1-2..0-1 vs A&M

If Kentucky loses, Tenn loses, Missouri wins, Vandy wins then
3 Missouri (11-7) 3-0
4 Kentucky (11-7) 3-2
5 Vandy (11-7) 2-3
6 Tennessee (11-7) 1-4

If Kentucky loses, Tenn loses, Missouri wins, Vandy loses then
3 Missouri (11-7) 2-0
4 Kentucky (11-7) 2-1
5 Tennessee (11-7) 0-3
6 Vandy (10-8) 1-0 vs Aub
7 Auburn (10-8) 0-1 vs Vandy

I believe this is now locked in that Vandy is the #6 seed and Aub #7 seed

The only thing that can change is the 4/5 for Tenn or Missouri pending on if Missouri wins they will be #4 and if they lose Tennessee is #4 and Missouri #5

Mizzou in a dogfight with ole miss. If they lose and Vandy wins, Vandy gets the 5, Auburn gets the 6 I believe

This is wrong.

If Vandy wins and Missouri loses it goes like this

3 Kentucky 12-6
4 Tenn 11-7
5 Vandy 11-7
6 Aub 10-8
7 Missiouri 10-8

I had my mind locked in on Missouri winning easy today whoops !

What if Vandy loses and 3 way tie at 10-8? Far from a guarantee they beat MSU w/o Robbins.

So are we rooting for Missouri now to win to avoid Auburn and get Vandy ?

Personally I am. Vandy isn't going to hit all those lucky shots again next week.

Auburn is fine but recent history tells me UK pummeling Auburn in a regular season game means little n post season.

Let's be real though and admit if Wallace is out next week does it matter? If that's the case I'd be tickled with 1 win n nashville. Today was great but it's a lot to ask of the guys shirt handed without a true PG.

I am. I'd rather play a revenge game against Vandy (where we have plenty of time to prep for them w/o Robbins) than play Auburn looking for revenge from their blowout loss.

So if Missouri wins this game they are the 4? Tennessee the 5? And Vandy wins tonight they are the 6?

Probably. I think beating Auburn is more impressive from a resume perspective but don't think whether our W is against Auburn or Vandy would change our seed even if that's the case. So give me Vandy because I think that's an easier game
