Stop me if you've heard this before, but NU blew a big lead in the first half. The Cats had a 16-2 edge with 12:50 left, but here we are at half with the score tied at 34. PSU hit just 1 of their first 12 shots, but since then have hit 10 of 18.

It' ain't pretty, but at least it's a game.

NU isn't shooting particularly well at 37.9%, but they're a tick better than PSU. Kopp leads with 8, Spencer and Young have 6 each, and how about Greer? He's got four on 2-2 shooting for an unexpected boost.

Tino s D looked solid to me.

14:37 in the second half, NU hanging in there but really losing the physical game. Spencer looks a little gassed already with several shots falling short.

Robbie just looking terrible on D all game.

Boo trying a little too much Hero, and PSU getting way too many second and third chance points, but cats are making some key shots and have a little lead at 7:11. shooting 52% from 3.

The team is playing with the right attitude. Some mistakes, some missed boxouts, but they’re trying and having fun. I’m trying to put myself in the right mindset for the last five minutes.

Spencer doing great setting up Kopp. Up 13, we have a 97% chance of winning. Apparently ESPN doesn't know our history.

Cats are locked in and playing with confidence - results showing on both ends of the court. Nice little run has us up double digits. I’ll take it.

Gotta keep scoring tho, I like a couple more fouls on #11 and #21, they’re getting away with a lot of grabbing and pushing.

Shots are finally falling for us but there is a lot of time left.

I need replays, I can’t tell if all these foul calls on #4 are happening, but they’re helpful.

Good of Kopp to travel there. Was good to give Spencer and Turner a curtain call, and to get the Pizza King of Chicago a chance to run out the clock.

Win against a ranked team at home to close out the season? That’s some progress.

This is a good boost for next year. Pleased with the way we closed out the game.

I’ll leave it to the numbers guys to look at the details, but the lions shot 33% from the field. Was that just a bad game or was our D not that bad?

They are having a party here for him, tons of folks in white and gold malnati 33 shirts and they’ve got the second floor party room.

I was chanting too. So was much of the stadium. Cool moment for a kid I’ve known since he was in diapers.

Getting AJ and Spencer out and getting him back in was a great moment. We can all carry today into the offseason.

I don’t think he traveled, I think CC called a timeout. One of those “play through” timeouts to get the substitutions in. Good move by him. The BTN guys just didn’t realize it at first.

We were solid inside at defending them, but they also missed a metric ton of open 3 pointers that for many other teams this year have fallen.

This was a fantastic game. Just good vibes and energy throughout. I actually felt comfortable the last couple minutes. We kept playing and there was no deer in headlights look at all. Kopp and Buie both came back super strong from the other night. BRAVO!

AJ was tremendous also. Really like that guy, always played hard and had some big moments.

They called a rolling substitution.

Yes it is. But, to be accurate, season ends in the BTT. Still, even if we get blow out in the first game, better to have won yesterday than having lost

it’s not over? I thought that’s why they call it the “post-season” ;)

Valid point. One more game = one more chance to improve.
