How about the DBs and LBs write the area code of Iowa receivers on their helmets instead of their own in hopes they may stay in the same area code of the receivers on third and long.

Our d tackles and nose need to have a hold the line mentality. Standing up and looking for the ball carrier leads to being too high and getting pushed back.

Needs to happen, the best defense on the field today belongs to Iowa, and that will be the difference in the game. Unless Iowa goes haywire in the second half, I see them winning today.
On third/fourth and short you may not want to give 10 yard cushion. Just a thought.
And where is Reed? Guy was a beast last week but the coaching staff is obsessed with Neal who is getting worked.

We are the weaker team and have been for the last few years. They need to get Big 10 tough. It will never change till we play tough defense. We can't right now.
Frost and Co. get the 1st year pass this year, but next year, the defense needs to get better. I just don't know if it will.
