What are everyone's predictions for basketball this year in the SEC West. I think this year is a tough year to figure out. Here are my predictions for the SEC West: 1. LSU (NCAA tournament) 2. Auburn (NIT) 3. MSU (NIT) 4. Alabama 5. Ole Miss 6. Arkansas

They just aren't very good/talented this year. They have had a weak preseason schedule and narrowly escaped a lot of the minor league colleges (i.e., McNeese, Nicholls, etc.). If they go 12-4, that would be a huge shock.

We'll all take turns beating each other in the West, so look for whichever team can muster the most East wins to win the division. Our road games are at UT, UK, and UGA. Home games against SC, Vandy, and Florida. We might be able to pull 3-3 out of that, and possibly 6-4 in the West games. And 9-7 might be enough to win it. I still think Bama is the most talented, but they have Gottfried.

Bama: 10-6
LSU: 9-7
MSU: 9-7
Auburn: 6-10
UM: 5-11
Ark: 4-12
