Planning on being in B'ham next weekend with the family and may catch a few games later in the week, assuming the dawgs are still in it. I haven't been to the SEC Tournament in years, but to those that have, what do you advise regarding ticket purchases? Buy in advance? Walk up and get tickets at ticket office or buy from those who just got booted? Is it usually packed by Friday or easy to get in?

Thanks fellows!

My advice is to go GA. You can get really good seats in the bleachers, they have a back on them and they're not bad especially if you bring in a cushion. For day games even more so because you can find seats in the shade. If the family includes young kids, definitely leave time to check out the fan area.

Few years back my son and I drove over and bought them there to see us play ole miss. I think we bought GA and picked out our own seats when we got in, because there were plenty other teams seats open and we just sat beside States dugout. We were on the first row, and Laura Rutledge was sitting right in front of us on the field. I could've touched her. We did speak to her a few times, but that's not why we sat there. She was smoking. The entire game we had a great view....
